A tasty documentary by Les Blank (“Burden of Dreams“/”A Poem is a Naked Person”/”All In This Tea”) that offers the home food of Cajuns and Creoles in souther Louisiana. To go along with the appetizing food we’re entertained by local musicians. Catfish dishes, boudin snacks, crawfish etoufees and gumbos are prepared, while the culture of the Cajuns and Creoles is praised to the skies.

It pleasantly serves as a mouth-watering documentary for all tastes.
