An early whimsical experimental film by Jean-Pierre Jeunet(“Amelie”/“Delicatessen”/”The City of Lost Children”). Dominique Pinon, the stalker in Amelie, stares at the camera and gives us a laundry list of his likes and dislikes. Not much to like or dislike, but if I had to choose I would say I didn’t like it. Its juvenile idea underwhelmed me.

Narrator Pinon’s laundry list of likes and dislikes goes something like this: He likes to piss in the shower. He likes to say Trans-Orient-Express. He likes to take escalators the wrong way. He dislikes men with beards and mustaches (hey, that’s me). He dislikes the look of butcher Shop Windows. He dislikes to hear the end of TV programs.

If you liked Amelie, which I didn’t, you’d probably also get a kick out of this lazy humored supposed hoot.
