“A must for fans of the cutting-edge rocker.”

Rock celeb Lou Reed performs live at the Bottom Line in New York City, in 1983. It comes after his release of the album “Legendary Hearts.” The lively video includes among the 13 songs he sings such hits as “Sweet Jane,” “Walk on the Wild Side,” “Waves of Fear,” “Kill Your Sons,” “Don’t Talk To Me About Work,” and “I’m Waiting for My Man.” The rocker is accompanied by Fernando Saunders (bass), Fred Maher (drums), and the late Robert Quine (lead guitar). A must for fans of the cutting-edge rocker, whose themes range from visions about madness and hope. For the uninitiated, it shows Reed at the height of his power and at his most energetic.
