Writer-director Damien Leone(“Terrifier”/”Terrifier2“) serves up a gory third helping for fans with a strong stomach for such a bloody flick. This film is the goriest and funniest one of the franchise.
Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) is a demon up to his old tricks of terrorizing people, after the decapitated clown from the prior film has his head reattached.
During Christmas time the disfigured Vicki (Samantha Scaffidi), a former victim of his, joins him as a terrorist partner on a sicko killing spree.
Art returns dressed as a Santa wielding an axe and again goes after his former tortured vic, Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera), who has been released from a mental hospital after escaping from the psycho’s attack and is staying for the holidays with her kind aunt (Margaret Anne Florence), uncle (Bryce Johnson), and young niece Gabbie (Antonella Rose). Her younger brother Jonathan (Elliott Fullam), also a former vic, is away at college. Sienna has the weapons to fight Art.
The chainsaw shower scene is a memorable sicko one.
We observe during downtime Art likes to just sit in his rocking chair and look out of the window, while Victoria digs taking a bath in her own blood.
I can’t say I enjoyed this shallow, surreal and gruesome horror film.
